November News Letter
Hello Everyone
We do hope you are all well and keeping safe. We are planning to start our Meetings again after such a long time. The Parish Council have worked hard to ensure everything is safe for us to use the Parish Hall premises again.
We have clear instructions as to what has to happen when everyone has left the room – which ensures it is safe for the next group to use the room.
One of the stipulations is that everyone attending has to have received their double vaccinations and possibly their Booster jab as well.
OUR FIRST MEETING IS PLANNED FOR : THURSDAY, 18th NOVEMBER 2021
We have invited Richard Marks to come and talk to us, he has been with us before and is an entertaining young man.
His presentation is:
THE THREE B’S OF READING
Or should it be Four ‘B’s Biscuits, Beer, Bricks & Bulbs
There is a diverse opinion as which of these important products make up
the original 3 B’s.
We’d like to start at 7.30 pm instead of 8pm – doors open 7 pm, so do come and join us. Please wear Face Masks if you wish.
Regards
The History Society Committee.
